MANUFACTURING PROCESS FOR SORTEX CLEANED BROKEN RICE
The sortex cleaned broken rice is also used as brewery adjuncts by breweries to enhance color, flavor & smoothness of beer.

Process for sortex cleaned broken rice

The raw broken rice is procured from the rice mills. Incoming broken rice after inspection & testing are subjected to screening & grading through various machines to remove dust, husk, stones & other impurities. The Cleaned broken rice are stored into bins. Thereafter the above broken rice is passed through silky polisher machine & color sorter machine to remove impurities like black particles from it. Thus the rice obtained from this process is called sortex cleaned broken rice and is used by breweries as adjuncts. The above sortex cleaned broken rice is stored into bins & packed into plastic bags or Jumbo bags as per buyer’s requirement.
